A Team Effort – Comms Business Channel Entrepreneur of the Year

I am delighted to have been awarded Channel Entrepreneur of the Year at the Comms Business Awards 2016. I can’t take all of the credit; this was a team effort from everyone at avsnet who continuously demonstrate their knowledge and expertise. We really do have some of the best people in the industry.

I believe the past eighteen months have been the strongest yet for avsnet. Our achievements really demonstrate avsnet’s unique position in the market and the strength of our team.

This belief and passion is built around the channel and our partners. Our Polycom Platinum Partner status and being named Cisco Rising Star Commercial Partner of the Year are some of the highlights, as is becoming the only UK provider to hold both the Cisco Master Collaboration and Polycom RealPresence Services specialisations.

We continually reinvest our profits into our most valuable asset – our people. I can’t stress enough how important the team is to providing the best customer experience. From pre-sales and solution design to our engineering and deployment teams, I am confident of our ability to meet the current and future needs of our growing customer base.

My focus now is still the same as it was when I founded the business – avsnet’s development, commercial growth, exceptional customer service, technical expertise and maintaining strong partner relationships with a focus on providing the most innovative solutions possible.

We have achieved so much since I set-up the company over ten years ago and I’m looking forward to continuing to build on our successes. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this win.
