avsnet high flyersSome of our team recently went to extreme measures to raise money for our charity of choice, Shooting Star Chase.

Six members of the avsnet team were given the opportunity to experience a loop the loop and barrel roll in a flying lesson with Perry Air at Shoreham Airport. The six colleagues were selected due to their recent outstanding performance.

“Shooting Star Chase is a local charity that does great work for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. It is a charity very close to our hearts and we are always pleased to be able to contribute to the charity’s outstanding work in any way we can,” said Graham Fry, managing director.

The flying feat raised £1,800 and is one of many fundraising efforts for the hospice.

“For our latest fundraising activity we wanted to do something different. avsnet has seen huge growth in 2014 which has been a great team effort by the whole company.  On this occasion we rewarded just a few members of the team and combined it with a fun way to raise funds at the same time”.
