2015 has been one of our strongest, most exciting years to date. We started by moving into new headquarters, complete with an impressive network operations centre and plenty of space to continue growing. Customer feedback has been excellent and our team now has a collaborative workspace they can be proud of.
Following our office move were a number of industry accreditations from Cisco and Polycom. This included Cisco’s Master Collaboration specialisation, Cisco Advanced Internet of Things specialisation in the Connected Safety and Security field, and becoming a Polycom RealPresence Services Specialist. We are the only provider in the UK to hold all three.
This recognition culminated at 2015’s Cisco partner forum. We were awarded the Rising Star Commercial Partner of the Year award. It was a particularly proud day for everyone at avsnet and it represents our commitment to partnering with the industry’s best-in-class service providers.
Our partner network has grown throughout the year, as have our customers’ demands and the complexity of the IT services we now manage. We have bolstered our continually expanding portfolio with a number of new services – this now includes collaboration and visual communications technology, network design and management, cloud services, managed security and our renowned maintenance and support services.
Expanding our services so significantly has been possible because of continued reinvestment in bringing onboard the very best talent in the industry. We have hired valuable experience across every department and significantly strengthened our operational and engineering teams.
Most of all however, it has been my pleasure in helping guide our customers through the complexities they face while adapting our offering to meet each organisation’s specific business requirements. We have welcomed many new customers across a wide range of verticals, including numerous blue-chip organisations.
The ongoing loyalty from our customers is perhaps the biggest reward in such a competitive marketplace. I wish you the very best in the closing weeks of this year and a successful 2016.
